Explanation of Service Impact on Some IAMMETER-Cloud Users (Real-Time Updates Ongoing)

Due to a fire at the data center we use(https://w.media/data-center-fire-strikes-alibaba-cloud-in-singapore/), some users (those registered before 2023) have been affected. We are working hard to restore the service and so apologize for the inconvenience caused.

We have urgently created a new database. Now, all affected customers can see real-time data updates on IAMMETER-cloud, but historical data is temporarily unavailable. The restoration of historical data will depend on the recovery of the Aliyun data center issue. Thank you for your understanding, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

The database is recovered now.

So sorry for this trouble.

Affected customers can now use the cloud service as normal. However, the data lost during the 10-hour period cannot be recovered.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Appreciate the updates, glad you were able to resolve the issue pretty quick given the local time at which it occurred.

Good luck!

Hi All,

I am missing the data for 2022. From 1/1/2023 everything is fine. What should I do? How do I restore them?

Dear petrlesak,

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please kindly provide screenshots of the specific pages where data is missing, so that we can proceed with further analysis.

Additionally, we would like to remind you that the storage durations for the two types of data from the meter are different:

  1. Real-time data, such as the power curve displayed on the Overview page, is stored for up to one year.
  2. Energy and billing data, such as the energy bar chart shown on the Overview page, is stored permanently.

We hope this clarifies the situation, and we look forward to your response.

Best regards,
IAMMETER

Hi All,I am missing the data for 2022. From 1/1/2023 everything is fine. What should I do? How do I restore them?

It is normal.

The real-time value (the power value in this chart) usually store only 6 month.

If you want to store it permanently ,you can download it normally.

But the hourly kwh data would be stored permanently,IAMMETER would use it to calculate daily kwh, monthly kwh, yearly kwh and the corresponding electricity billing .So these information would also be store permanently ."
