Dear,

I have a suggestion that you include a Notification for exported energy (kWh).

This notification allows very efficient energy consumption combined with the control of the devices (electric heating, cooling, etc.).

I'm from Slovenia and everything is going in the direction that electricity operators will tax all the energy (you give 1kW to the grid and you get 1kW back from grid, but for this 1kW you pay all taxes and other fees ( this is more then 1/3 price of KWh)).

Best regards,

Hi David:

I guess you just want to improve the self-use rate of solar PV output as high as possible, yes?
You do not want to export any energy to the grid, because
1 the exported power tariff is much lower than the imported tariff.
2 extra taxes would be paid for both imported and exported kWh.

If so, I think the notification would be with regard to the exported power, not the kWh.
But we do not think it is a good method to push the notification frequently, because it would be abused.
we need to find a proper method to utilize the solar PV output, to achieve a nearly 100% of the self-use rate.

In addition, strongly recommend using this report to analyze the self use rate of your solar PV system.

Hi Laoliu,

Yes, i wont to improve the self-use rate of solar PV output as high as possible.

I phrased myself wrong, I don't want to receive the notification, but the intent of this notification should be, for example, that Smart Sock is activated when the threshold is exceeded.

Hi:

In fact, this demand has been supported now.

https://www.iammeter.com/docs/alert-and-notification#trigger-different-operations-when-the-value-of-uploaded-data-reaches-the-preset-threshold

You can trigger the smart socket with Tasmota inside like this

https://www.iammeter.com/docs/alert-and-notification#strongly-recommend-actions--mqtt-control-a-third-party-device-directly

And the IAMMETER`s MQTT broker is still on (it is just to simplify the MQTT testing of our customer, not a standard service. We may close it in the future)
Theory speaking, you can publish the data to IAMMETER`s MQTT broker in the interval of 6 seconds now, and trigger the smart socket that subscribes to the same topic.

But I do not think the smart socket is a good actuator. It can only operate on or off, and can not control the load linear.
We plan to support smart EV-charger in the near future. it should be a perfect option, with enough load and can be used to consume the solar PV output and can be controlled linearly.
