Hi,

Thank you.

Now I have Iammeter integrated in Home Assistant.

Bye. Tim.

It is my pleasure.

When the energy meter has already been connected to the router, you can log in to it by the local IP allocated by the router.

like this

https://www.iammeter.com/quickstart/wem3080t-quickstart#9-how-to-know-that-the-meter-already-connected-to-your-router

It works!!!The last step was switching on de router and logging in.Everything is ok now. Thanks for your help!Regards, Tim.

Thanks for your help sofar!

Does it mean after you power up the router ,the AP named iMeter_sn disappear? Yes.

if this is the ipconfig output

"IPv4 address 11.11.11.2

IPv4 DNS server 11.11.11.1"

Yes. That is it.

I can connect  with AP iMeter_sn.

I go to iMeter  WiFi  Quick  Setup

Click factory Default Get back succesful

Do Admin Admin Get back succesful

Then I hit wifi networks. iMeter_sn is not in the list.

What do I wrong?

I hope that you can help me further.

Regards, Tim.

Sorry ,please let me know ,what is this mean

"As soon as I power up the router the the Iammeter is gone."

If so ,it is normal ,because the AP would disappear after it reconnected to the router again.

please do the "ipconfig" in cmd and give us a snapshot.

if this is the ipconfig output

"IPv4 address 11.11.11.2

IPv4 DNS server 11.11.11.1"

it means the IP of the energy meter is still 11.11.11.1 ,you can try to connect it after you connect the ap named iMeter_sn

Thank you for the information. I try to do what you wrote.Problem is that I have  to power off the router to get the Iammeter up.As soon as I power up the router the the Iammeter is gone. When I enter the cmd ipconfig I see something on the screen, but it is gone within a second so I can't reed it.In settings I find for iammeter:IPv4 address 11.11.11.2IPv4 DNS server 11.11.11.1Can you help me furder? Thanks.

Hi:

1 connect the AP of the WiFi energy meter

2 Enter cmd mode

use this command to find out the IP that the AP allocated to you.

Windows:ipconfig

Linux:ifconfig

Then you will find the IP of your PC(allocated by the AP) and the gateway ip(which is also the IP of the AP).

Use the gateway IP to visit the AP, you will enter the local page of the energy meter.

Hi,I have the same situation: After power down of the router the iammeter pops up.But when I visit the 11.11.11.1 there is no connection and the iammeter is gone. What can I do? I tried this several times but allways the same result.

Thanks !  turn off router work perfectly.

Hi:

there are some methods in this case, please select the one that fits you.
1 change the router setting and let it includes the fixed IP of the energy meter.
2 power down the router, then the ap of iMeter_sn would appear. Connect it and visit the 11.11.11.1 like the first configuration.
Then you can change it to DHCP from static IP, or simply click the "factory default" in basic.html.

Because of the possible difficulties like you met in this case, we do not recommend using static IP.
if you indeed need to use the static IP,we recommend choosing a router that can assign IP to a specific mac directly, it will be more stable.
