Hi all,

I have a different price of energy when consuming than generating. How can I setup this to get a exact billing calculation?

Hi, the power tariff of import energy and export energy is set in a different places. Like below pics

IAMMETER supports many power tariff calculations in energy consumption billing reports.

Such as fix rate, tiered rates, time of use rate,
More detail about the electrical tariff setting , please refer to https://www.iammeter.com/docs/set-power-tariff

Hello @lauliu,

One qurestion regarding "Power tariff (Exported Energy)"

Is this tariff charged by the Electrical Provider" or is this a credit the Electrical provider give to customers that Feed-in power into the grid?

The question is to understand a little more the functional of this field in Ianmmeter Cloud App.

In Brazil we have both: a small tariff that Eletrical companies will allow to charge customers in the future to export energy to their grid lines and also a credit for all energy you input in the Grid lines of the Electrical Company.

So the credit that I am interesting to know if Ianmmeter can calculate is the "income" of such power exceed that we as PV producers can get from the Electrical Company.

Best Regards,

Murillo

Hi Murillo:

Sorry,I have not understood this clearly.

Could you please give us a specific example to illustrate the billing policy?
In another words , how do calculate the bills from the imported energy and exported energy.
The input parameter includes the import energy (from grid) and exported energy(to grid)
The result is the bill.

Give a simple example (base on the specific number) to show the calculation proocess.

Hello Laoliu,

I have found my answer according to your comment: "The input parameter includes the imported energy (from grid) and exported energy(to grid)

The result is the bill."

Now I am really close to the billing from Electrical Provider.

Thanks!
