I have connected mine to Home  Assistant. The problem I am having is the device will change it's ip address from time to time, thus lossing historical data. Is there somehow a way I can give it a fixed ip address.

Cheers

Hi ,you can set the static ip of the energy meter in app, like this

But we strongly recommend using the DHCP mode,
if you want to fix the IP , the better way is to set it in your router.

If you set the fixed IP in the energy meter , please do not forget the IP.
otherwise, it will be hard to log in to the energy meter anymore.

The worst situation is as below, for example , the proper IP range is 192.168.10.2-250 but you set a wrong IP here(for example 192.168.1.x) . Then although it is connected to the router by WIFI, but you will not be able to visit the local IP(it is restricted by the router because it is not in a valid IP segament).

Thanks for reply....

Is this app using an Iphone? Because on my android device I cannot find the option to change the ip address.

Also I can't find this option using the web online either.

Hi: this function only provides in app local mode.(The energy meter and your phone should be under the same WLAN networking).
